KTTC + prayer beads, etc.

I came in third place in WebTown's Key to the City Competition (NVE side). Thanks to everyone who voted for me!

On the bright side, I just got an email from a lady whose site inspired *me* to start making prayer beads. She said *she* was inspired to make some Blue Sky Beads because of mine! Now see, that's what having a website is *really* about: inspiration, information, sharing, etc.

I am going to stay in WebTown, but I am not going after any more goals. If I win anything, okay; if I don't, okay. It's not about who has the best site, anyway (which I didn't know when I first got into web comps.); it's about how many arms you can twist (::grin::) to vote for you. That may sound like sour grapes, but seriously I have sometimes wondered how in the world some people have won things (esp. in that other comp. I was in). Oh well, I guess what one person thinks is kinda lacking another might find fantastically good. :-)

And something to be very thankful for: we didn't get any tornadoes in our immediate area last night! Whew!

Well, my prayer beads section is here:

Some are definitely Roman Catholic, but some are pagan. Since I am a Unitarian Universalist, I feel it's okay to borrow from a lot of different sources. :-)

You should see Karen's page! She is who inspired me!
