Shoppin', mousie!

We went out this afternoon to various places: Steak 'n' Shake, then to PETsMART, where they had the cutest little fancy mouse I have ever seen! He was a dark chocolate brown, very sleek and healthy-looking, beautiful fur, cute, active. I wish I could have pets! Well, it would've been a good idea to get a second mouse or so, so he wouldn't get lonely...but I have allergies, so that idea is a no-go. But he was SO CUTE!

We also went to Target (I got a couple more outfits for my stuff-your-own small Build-A-Bear Workshop bear, more hair scrunchies, and a couple Johnny Cash CDs), Meijer (I got a couple skeins of yarn and a knit/crochet magazine), and then on to the grocery for items they didn't have yesterday.

It was COLD out there for 40oF.! Grey, damp, windy. Good thing I wore my winter coat!

But it was all worth it to see that cute mousie! Nibble, nibble, mousekin.

Isn't the Target Buid-a-bear awesome!!! I love that you can stuff it yourself.

I actually have not done it yet! I want to be in a good happy mood with plenty of time, so that the bear comes into the world with happy thoughts and lots of love, like when we are at the Workshop. :-)

One of the outfits I got yesterday is an exact duplicate of a full-size outfit I have for my BABW girls: the spring fairy outfit! So cute!

Oh nooooo! :-( :-( :-( Poor little mousie...That is the only drawback to having mice and rats for pets: they don't live very long. :-(

Well, I'm sure you've given her a very happy life. Be sure to spend as much time with her as you can. ::hugs::

Wow, what knit/crochet magazine were you able to find?? The new Interweave crochet issue, perhaps? Just wondering, as crochet magazines are often as scarce as hens' teeth!

Steak 'n' Shake sounds awfully good. When my cold passes and I can taste things again, going there is on my to-do list. Yes, I'm still dieting, but ya gotta have fun sometime!

Can you tell I am digging back through old comments and replies, actually trying to answer? Heh. :-P

I totally forget at this point what magazine it was. I am pretty sure the new Interweave crochet magazine isn't out yet. I think they are only going to do that once a year, in the autumn.

The only place that had several interesting knit and crochet magazines lately was the Kenwood Barnes & Noble.
